Overview of Landscape Maintenance Services

It is important that you understand the types of maintenance services we offer our clients.  Not all clients get all services.  Discuss each client's services for the properties you service with your Crew Leader.

Essential Landscape Care:

  • Completed approximately once every three (3) weeks, up to 8 visits between spring and fall cleanups.

Deer Control:

Plant Care:

  • Three (3) inspections/sprays during the season to monitor insect activity
  • Fall fertilization for all ornamental trees and shrubs
  • Note: inspections are to investigate any insect or disease activity on the property, if any is present we will treat the most common issues as part of program. Due to the seasonal nature of certain pests and the unique requirements of your landscape some treatments may not be covered in our program and can be provided at an additional cost after reviewing with you.

Mowing:

  • Completed once a week; up to thirty (30) visits per season
  • Note: mowing will be with mulching mower and not bagged

Fall Clean-Up:

  • Two (2) visits to the property late season to remove leaves from the grounds and beds
  • Cutting back of perennials to prepare for winter and reduce debris for spring cleanup

Maintenance Pruning:

  • Hand pruning of ornamental shrubs to open up and maintain a natural shape
  • Under 15 feet tall to lift canopy, open up and maintain a natural shape
  • Shearing of all formal hedges

Seasonal Flower Display:

  • Planting of spring bulbs
  • Planting of 4” summer annuals including x tropical specimen plants
  • Planting of fall mums
  • Installation of winter display
  • Note: Annuals will require regular watering by homeowner unless an existing irrigation system exists to water the annuals. Your irrigation system runtime and frequency may need modified to adequately water new plants.

Irrigation System Care:

  • System Start-up – We will turn on the irrigation system, install components removed from the winter, program the controller for the current seasonal conditions, and check operation of heads, valves, piping, and control wiring. We will test water backflow devices solely for the system as identified in the schedule with a certified technician.
  • System Winterization – Once (1) in the fall, we will shut off the system, winterize the outdoor PVC piping with compressed air, and then remove any backflow preventer located above ground and store on site for the winter.
  • Note: repairs to the system to achieve startup may be necessary and are traditionally billed on a time and materials basis
