Team Culture

Team culture plays a crucial role in supporting a company's image. It is important for team members to maintain a clean, professional, and positive attitude at all times. This includes wearing the entire uniform, including pants, shirt, and hat, while on job sites.

Working well with others and adapting to different personality types is essential for a harmonious team culture. It is important to display a neat appearance and be courteous to other employees at the facility when loading, parking, and performing other tasks.

Furthermore, team members should return tools, equipment, and plant material to their proper location at the end of the day. Following a cleaning schedule for the facility and keeping the building area neat, clean, and organized is also crucial.

Efficiency in paperwork processing is another aspect of team culture. Work orders and time sheets should be neat, complete, organized, and submitted in a timely manner with correct calculations. Equipment repair forms should also be completed and submitted promptly.

Lastly, a strong team culture involves helping other team members to accomplish tasks, especially new members or those who may be struggling. By offering support and assistance, the team can work together more effectively.

Participation

Participation is key to being a valuable team member. Consistent and on-time attendance to work, ready to start on time, is essential. Following the procedures outlined in the employee handbook for requesting time off is also important.

Being available for extra effort on nights, weekends, holidays, emergency work, and snow removal demonstrates a commitment to the team. Taking ownership for one's actions and being a consistent and dependable performer are qualities that contribute to a positive team culture.

Additionally, community tools and equipment should be returned to their proper location in a timely manner and in a ready state without needing direction. Proactively helping others with loading and unloading tasks is another way to actively participate in the team.
